Anti-CD83 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG preparation, this reagent recognizes CD83, an immunoglobulin-superfamily cell-surface glycoprotein best characterized as a maturation marker of dendritic cells and also expressed on activated B and T lymphocytes. Validated by Antibodies.com for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody detects the target in human tissue and cross-reacts with the corresponding mouse and rat orthologues, supporting comparative immunology studies across species.

Supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot, the antibody is suited to immunoblotting of lymphoid cell lysates and visualization of CD83-expressing cells in fixed tissue sections.
