CD83 is a cell-surface glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily, widely used as a marker for mature dendritic cells and activated lymphocytes. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to target the extracellular region of human CD83, with reactivity confirmed in mouse and rat tissue.
The unconjugated IgG format is supplied as 100 µl of ready-to-titer stock and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, supporting studies of antigen-presenting cell maturation, thymic selection, and B-cell activation. Researchers commonly apply this antibody to investigate soluble CD83 shedding, immune regulation in transplant models, and DC-based vaccine development.
The reagent is intended for research use only and should be stored refrigerated between use cycles to preserve activity across multiple experiments.
