This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the CD79B protein (also known as Ig-beta or B29), a transmembrane signaling subunit of the B-cell receptor (BCR) required for surface immunoglobulin expression and signal transduction during B-cell maturation. The reagent is validated for Western blot in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.7, the product is packaged in a single-use vial format. Research applications include profiling BCR signaling in normal and malignant B cells, investigating recurrent CD79B mutations in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and using CD79B as a pan-B-cell lineage marker alongside CD79A and CD19.

For short-term use, store refrigerated; for extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The unconjugated format enables flexible pairing with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies in chemiluminescent or fluorescence-based workflows. Host species is rabbit; clonality is polyclonal.
