Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in Rabbit against the T203 region of human CD79a, a signaling subunit of the B-cell receptor complex (Ig-α / mb-1) expressed from late pro-B-cell through plasma-cell stages. In immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, membranous staining highlights B-lineage cells in germinal centers, mantle zones, and marginal zones of reactive lymphoid tissue, supporting classification of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas, B-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma, and plasma cell neoplasms when combined with broader lineage panels. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, pH ~7.2; refrigerate to preserve activity and protect from light to maintain stability. Validated on Human and Mouse tissue and provided unconjugated, allowing flexible pairing with HRP- or alkaline phosphatase-based chromogenic secondary detection systems or tyramide signal amplification workflows. This Antibodies.com reagent is formatted as 100 µl of working stock suitable for routine IHC protocols and may be combined with CD20, PAX5, and CD3 panels to resolve ambiguous lymphoid infiltrates and to distinguish B-cell from T-cell processes in diagnostic pathology.
