Anti-CD74 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent targets CD74, also known as the MHC class II invariant chain (Ii), a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that chaperones MHC class II α/β heterodimers through the endosomal pathway and acts as a cell-surface receptor for macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF). The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue. Expected band sizes are approximately 33 kDa for the p33 isoform and 41 kDa for the p41 splice variant, with additional higher-molecular-weight species in B-cell lines reflecting invariant chain homotrimers and assembled MHC class II complexes.
