Anti-CD58 Antibody

Supplied through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human CD58 immunogen and is designed to detect the endogenous level of total CD58 protein in human samples. Provided as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, the antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol for buffer stability. For routine immunodetection, it has been validated in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, making it suitable for studies of LFA-3/CD58 expression in tissues and cell lysates. Storage and handling are straightforward: the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. As a research-use-only reagent, it is intended for laboratory investigation of the CD58 cell-surface glycoprotein rather than for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
