From the Antibodies.com catalog, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets CD53, a tetraspanin-family leukocyte glycoprotein commonly used as a B-cell marker in immunological research. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid, it is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows, with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1000 for WB and approximately 1:10,000 for ELISA. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, with IgG as the native isotype. The antibody has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat samples and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific peptide chromatography. It is presented in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02 % sodium azide and 50 % glycerol; it is shipped on blue ice at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Each batch is dispatched from St. Louis, MO by Antibodies.com for the AFMS distribution network, and the 50 µl pack is priced at 1,365 SAR. The reagent is intended for research use only and is suitable for studies of leukocyte surface-marker expression, B-cell phenotyping and related cell-signalling investigations.
