The Anti-CD44 Antibody [N58-2] from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgM reagent raised against the human CD44 cell-surface glycoprotein. CD44 is a heavily glycosylated transmembrane receptor that mediates adhesion to hyaluronic acid and participates in lymphocyte homing, tumor metastasis, and stem cell niche interactions. Clone N58-2 recognizes an epitope on the standard CD44s isoform and is widely cited in studies of epithelial carcinomas, hematologic malignancies, and mesenchymal stem cells.
