Anti-CD40LG Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Primary Antibody is a Rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against CD40LG, which the manufacturer datasheet refers to as TNFSF5. The unconjugated antibody is of the IgG isotype and has been validated for use with Human and Mouse samples.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 113–261 of human CD40L (NP_000065.1). It is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. Reported molecular weight observations are 25 – 30 kDa and 17 kDa, and the recommended Western blot dilution is 1:100 – 1:500. Concentration is given as lot specific.

Applications are listed differently between sources: the Antibodies.com product entry indicates WB and IF, whereas the manufacturer datasheet lists WB only. The reagent is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
