The CD37 antigen is a member of the tetraspanin superfamily that is selectively expressed on mature B lymphocytes, making it a useful marker for studying B-cell development and B-cell-derived malignancies. This Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against CD37, supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 200 µl volume.

It has been validated for western blot detection of the human protein, supporting studies of tetraspanin organization at the B-cell membrane, signal transduction through the CD37 cytoplasmic tail, and expression profiling in non-Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and other B-lineage neoplasms. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the four-transmembrane-domain target, which can be advantageous when probing denatured lysates by western blot. Researchers working on B-cell biology, lymphoma immunophenotyping, or tetraspanin network biology will find this reagent a practical addition to their antibody panel, and aliquoting on first use helps preserve reagent activity across multiple blotting experiments.
