Anti-CD34 Antibody

CD34 is a 110 kDa transmembrane sialoglycoprotein expressed on hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, on vascular endothelium, and on a subset of mesenchymal stromal cells. The recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes the human, mouse, rat, and dog CD34 orthologs and is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antibody in TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.

Validated applications include Western blot, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The antibody is therefore suited to labeling vascular structures in tissue sections, characterizing endothelial and hematopoietic lineages in primary cell preparations, and probing CD34 expression in lysates from diverse mammalian systems. Recombinant clonality supports reproducible immunolabeling across studies and between lots.

Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening, aliquot the solution to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store refrigerated; the glycerol formulation is also compatible with longer-term storage below -20°C for archival stocks.
