The CD32-B target, also known as FCGR2B, is a low-affinity inhibitory Fc gamma receptor that mediates negative signaling in B lymphocytes and other immune cells. This rabbit polyclonal reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human and mouse samples.

With reactivity confirmed against both human and mouse species, the antibody supports studies of immune complex clearance, B-cell receptor signaling pathways, and regulatory checkpoints that suppress antibody production. Researchers working on autoimmune disease models, including systemic lupus erythematosus, frequently use anti-CD32-B reagents to map inhibitory pathways in immune cell populations. The target is also of interest in cancer immunotherapy research, where FCGR2B expression on macrophages and B cells can shape antibody-dependent cellular responses.

Each vial ships as a 50 µl aliquot in a glycerol-based buffer that tolerates freeze-thaw cycling and is suited to short-term refrigerated storage. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the CD32-B protein, which is useful when examining tissue-level expression by IHC or confirming protein size and abundance by WB. The unconjugated format allows downstream pairing with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore labels chosen by the end user.

Typical applications include probing B-cell lymphoma lysates for FCGR2B expression, characterizing Fc receptor profiles on tumor-infiltrating immune cells, and validating gene knockdown efficiency in transfected cell lines. Sample preparation for WB generally uses standard RIPA lysis, while IHC benefits from antigen retrieval in citrate buffer (pH 6.0) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections.
