CLEC12A (also designated CD316, CLL-1, or MICL) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the C-type lectin domain family. It carries an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif (ITIM) in its cytoplasmic tail and is expressed predominantly on cells of the myeloid lineage, including monocytes, granulocytes, and dendritic cells. Because of its restricted expression on leukemic stem cells in acute myeloid leukemia, CD316 has attracted attention as a marker for AML research and as a candidate surface target in studies of myeloid-derived suppressor cells.
This rabbit polyclonal antibody to CD316 is unconjugated and validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows. It cross-reacts with both human and mouse CLEC12A, which makes it practical for translational studies that move between murine disease models and human sample analysis. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot from Antibodies.com, providing enough material for multiple immunoblot or plate-based experiments under standard research use only conditions.
