Anti-CD31/PECAM-1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-CD31/PECAM-1 Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent raised against the CD31 target, also known as PECAM-1 (Platelet Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule-1). CD31 is a ~130 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed prominently on vascular endothelial cells, platelets, and certain leukocyte subsets, where it contributes to intercellular adhesion, leukocyte transendothelial migration, and angiogenic signaling.

This unconjugated primary antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid formulation in TBS buffer (pH 7.4) containing 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human samples. Researchers commonly deploy it to identify and quantify endothelial cells within tumor microenvironments, characterize vascular networks in tissue sections, profile angiogenic activity, or distinguish endothelial lineages from hematopoietic populations in flow cytometry panels.
