Anti-CD300d Antibody

The polyclonal reagent offered by Antibodies.com targets CD300d, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the CMRF35/CD300 immunoglobulin receptor family. Expression of CD300d is largely confined to cells of the human myeloid compartment, including monocytes, macrophages, and certain dendritic cell populations. The cytoplasmic tail of CD300d participates in intracellular signaling, and along with related CD300 receptors it contributes to modulation of myeloid cell activation within the innate immune system.

Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 100 µl per vial, this antibody is appropriate for Western blot and ELISA workflows. Reactivity has been confirmed against human samples, and the polyclonal format permits recognition of multiple epitopes across the extracellular Ig-like domain of CD300d, broadening compatibility with both denatured lysates on membranes and native antigen captured on plate.

For immunoblotting, the reagent can be paired with reduced and denatured protein lysates prepared from human myeloid cell lines such as THP-1 or U937, as well as from primary monocytes. In indirect ELISA setups it may serve as capture or detection antibody when matched with an appropriate secondary reagent.
