The Anti-CD3 zeta Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against the CD247 (CD3 zeta) subunit of the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. CD3 zeta is a ~16 kDa transmembrane immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM)-bearing chain that couples antigen recognition to intracellular signaling in T lymphocytes, and antibodies against it are widely used to track TCR complex assembly, thymic development, and downstream phosphorylation events.

Provided as 100 µg of liquid polyclonal IgG in unconjugated form, this reagent is validated for western blot and immunocytochemistry (ICC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Typical working concentrations fall in the 0.5 to 2 µg/mL range for western blotting. For storage, aliquot the antibody and store at -20 °C in working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles; avoid repeated freeze-thaw of the stock vial. Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening.

Researchers investigating chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) design, T-cell activation pathways, autoimmune disease models, and transplant immunology use CD3 zeta reagents to assess receptor surface expression and signaling competence. This reagent is supplied for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
