The Anti-CD3 epsilon Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against the CD3ε (CD3 epsilon) subunit of the T-cell receptor complex. CD3ε is a ~20 kDa transmembrane signaling polypeptide that assembles with CD3γ, CD3δ, and the CD3ζ homodimer to form the complete TCR–CD3 complex, where its cytoplasmic ITAM motifs are phosphorylated by Lck and subsequently recruit ZAP-70 to initiate T-cell activation.

This unconjugated primary antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue sections (IHC-P), and immunocytochemistry (ICC), and it has been confirmed to recognize both human and mouse CD3ε owing to evolutionary conservation of the immunizing epitope. The reagent is supplied as 100 µg of liquid antiserum, providing enough material for multiple staining panels and offering a rabbit host choice for experiments that already include a mouse or goat primary antibody.

For best stability, store the vial refrigerated at 4 °C short term; for longer-term storage, aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles and keep at -20 °C. Common applications include labeling T-lymphocytes in tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte studies, characterizing TCR complex assembly in Jurkat cells, and profiling thymocyte subsets during mouse T-cell development.
