CD292, also known as ALK1 (activin receptor-like kinase 1), is a type I serine/threonine kinase receptor within the TGF-β superfamily that is predominantly expressed on vascular endothelial cells. Antibodies.com provides a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against this receptor, supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent in a 100 µl vial suited to Western blot workflows and ELISA-based detection. The reagent has been validated for reactivity against human samples, supporting studies of endothelial signalling, angiogenesis-related pathways, and the molecular basis of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), in which ALK1 loss-of-function mutations are well documented. It is commonly deployed by investigators working on BMP9 and BMP10 signalling, vascular development, and endothelial-mesenchymal transition in vitro, frequently alongside complementary endothelial markers such as CD105 (endoglin) for comparative profiling. For handling, the vial should be kept refrigerated, aliquoted to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protected from light until first use. Each preparation is ready to dilute for immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates run under standard reducing SDS-PAGE conditions, yielding reproducible detection of the target band in lysates from relevant human cell lines.
