Anti-CD28 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28 (also referred to as TP44) and is supplied at a 50 µl volume with a protein concentration of 1 mg/mL. Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified from antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human CD28 — the antibody is unconjugated and provided as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. Validated applications include ELISA and Western blot, where it detects endogenous levels of CD28 in human samples and has been demonstrated on K562 cell lysates. Each preparation is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival the user is advised to aliquot and store the vial at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity.
