CD241, the Rh blood group D antigen, is a transmembrane glycoprotein carried on the surface of erythroid-lineage cells and is the most immunogenic member of the Rh blood-group system. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against human CD241 and is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum for Western blot and ELISA workflows.

The unconjugated format gives investigators flexibility to pair the primary with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents of their choice, supporting both chemiluminescent immunoblotting and standard plate-based immunoassay readouts. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it binds multiple epitopes across the CD241 polypeptide, which can be helpful when probing low-abundance antigen or denatured lysate preparations.

Typical research uses include studies of RhD alloimmunization in pregnancy, hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, blood-group antigen expression on erythroid precursors, and characterization of engineered red-cell lines. Each vial is intended for research use only.
