The Anti-CD240d Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the RhD (Rhesus D) blood group antigen, a clinically important transmembrane protein expressed on human erythrocyte membranes. Produced in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation, this antibody enables direct detection of CD240d in Western blot and ELISA workflows without the need for a secondary reporter conjugation step.

CD240d, encoded by the RHD gene, is the most immunogenic of the Rhesus family antigens and serves as a widely studied marker in transfusion medicine research, hemolytic disease investigations, and characterization of erythroid lineage cell models including Rhnull and D-negative systems. The reagent is reactive against human samples and has been validated for both qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis of RhD expression.

Provided as a 100 µl vial of liquid stock, the antibody should be stored at -20°C in aliquots to preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For short-term handling, the vial may be kept refrigerated at 4°C. The reagent is intended for research use only and supports workflows in immunohematology, blood group antigen profiling, and erythrocyte membrane protein studies.
