Anti-CD207 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes CD207 (Langerin), a type II transmembrane C-type lectin expressed selectively by Langerhans cells in stratified squamous epithelia and by related dermal dendritic cell subsets. Langerin drives the formation of Birbeck granules, the rod-shaped endocytic organelles that distinguish Langerhans cells from other antigen-presenting populations. The reagent is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antiserum supplied at 100 µl, validated for Western blot and ELISA on human samples. It is commonly used in studies of cutaneous immunology, dendritic cell differentiation, antigen uptake and routing, and infectious disease research involving skin or mucosal entry. Endogenous detection in cell lysates and primary keratinocyte or dendritic cell cultures is supported by the immunoblot application data.
