Anti-CD200 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against human CD200 (OX-2), a type I transmembrane immunoglobulin superfamily glycoprotein that interacts with CD200R to dampen myeloid cell activation and contribute to peripheral immune tolerance.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the antibody recognises the native target and is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer combination that protects antibody activity while keeping the reagent compatible with routine immunostaining workflows.

The polyclonal backbone expands epitope coverage across the extracellular domain, which is useful when profiling CD200 expression on thymocytes, B cells, endothelial cells, neurons and several haematological and solid tumour types reported in the literature. Brief centrifugation before opening is recommended, and the vial should be kept cold with light protection; aliquoting is advised for longer-term storage to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
