Anti-CD20 (L230) Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit antibody recognizing the L230 epitope of CD20, the B-lymphocyte transmembrane phosphoprotein MS4A1. CD20 is a lineage marker expressed from the pre-B through mature B-cell stage and is widely used in hematopathology to characterize normal B-cell populations and B-cell neoplasms including non-Hodgkin lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The L230 clone has been referenced in published immunohistochemical studies of lymphoid tissue, where it has been applied to formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections to highlight follicular, mantle, and marginal zone B-cells. This unconjugated, affinity-purified reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, in a 50 µl vial, and is available through Antibodies.com. Reported reactivity is restricted to human tissue. The unconjugated format allows laboratories to pair the antibody with their own HRP, biotin, or fluorochrome detection chemistry.
