Anti-CD20 (L230) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated polyclonal reagent at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody recognizes the CD20 (MS4A1) transmembrane phosphoprotein expressed on B-lymphocytes from the late pre-B cell stage through mature B-cell stages, and is reactive on human tissue.

Validated for IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, the reagent supports routine identification of normal and neoplastic B-cells in lymphoma panels, tonsil control sections, and reactive lymphoid tissue. The polyclonal format presents recognition of multiple epitopes on the target protein, which can be helpful when heat-induced epitope retrieval has partially unfolded conformational sites on archival specimens.

Aliquot and store refrigerated upon arrival, protected from light; the sodium azide preservative is incompatible with some downstream workflows such as coupling chemistries that involve primary amines and should be considered before use.
