Anti-CD20 Antibody

CD20 is a non-glycosylated transmembrane phosphoprotein of roughly 33-37 kDa expressed on the surface of B lymphocytes from the late pre-B cell stage through mature B cells, but absent on early pro-B cells and plasma cells. It contributes to B-cell calcium channel activity and activation, making it a long-standing marker for lymphoma phenotyping and a common research target in studies of B-cell development, autoimmunity, and lymphoid neoplasia.

This 100 µl antibody is supplied in a single vial of TBS buffer at pH 7.4 with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. The recombinant expression approach yields a defined, single-clone reagent with consistent lot-to-lot specificity, useful when anti-CD20 is used to score patient biopsies or to compare signaling data across multiple experiments.

For handling, refrigerate upon receipt and protect from light; for longer term storage, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles, since repeated thawing gradually reduces antibody activity.
