Supplied by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a mouse monoclonal reagent raised against CD19, the 95 kDa B-lymphocyte transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that is broadly expressed across the B-cell lineage (from pro-B through mature B cells) and lost on plasma cells. The antibody is of the mouse IgG1 isotype and is provided in an unconjugated format at a 50 µl pack size, formulated in TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol and preserved with 0.05% sodium azide, a buffer composition typical of the Antibodies.com catalog that is compatible with standard short-term handling at 4 °C and long-term storage at -20 °C. It has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and flow cytometry (FC), the three applications most commonly used to profile CD19 expression in lymphoid tissues, primary cell suspensions and B-cell leukemia or lymphoma model systems, and is reactive with both human and mouse samples, enabling cross-species studies of B-cell development, activation and immunotherapy research. Recommended starting dilutions are typically 1-2 µg/ml for IHC staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, 1-2 µg per million cells for flow cytometric surface staining, and an empirically determined working concentration for Western blotting of B-cell lysates such as Raji or Daudi. As a Mouse IgG1, κ-class monoclonal, the reagent pairs cleanly with goat anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies and is suitable for use in multiplex panels that resolve CD19 alongside other B- and T-cell markers. Each lot is released under Antibodies.com's 100% quality guarantee, and the Cambridge-UK based manufacturer provides PhD-level technical support to help optimize antibody dilution, antigen retrieval and detection chemistry across WB, IHC and FC workflows.
