Anti-CD19 Antibody

Produced in rabbit against the human CD19 B-cell surface antigen, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com supports Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) detection in human and rat samples. CD19 is a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed throughout most stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells through mature B lymphocytes, making it a widely used marker for characterising B-lineage populations in lymphoma and leukemia research.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, allowing convenient storage at refrigerator conditions while preserving antibody integrity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For Western blot, the antibody detects a band near the expected molecular weight of CD19 (~95 kDa), and for IHC it supports localisation of CD19-positive cells in formalin-fixed tissue sections.
