The target CD180, also known as RP105, is a ~105 kDa pattern-recognition receptor belonging to the Toll-like receptor family. It is expressed predominantly on human B cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells, where it forms a signaling complex with the MD-1 accessory protein and contributes to innate immune signaling and B-cell activation following microbial stimulation.
