Targeting the surrogate light-chain component CD179b, this rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognises the human antigen expressed on pro-B and pre-B lymphocytes. CD179b pairs with VpreB1 and the µ heavy chain to assemble the pre-B cell receptor, a checkpoint complex that governs B-cell maturation in the bone marrow. Researchers can apply the antibody to western blot and ELISA workflows to profile surrogate light-chain expression, characterise B-ALL samples, or study early lymphoid development. Each vial contains 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, supplied for research use only.
