Anti-CD177 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent targets CD177, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored surface protein commonly referenced as NB1, HNA-2a, and PRV-1. CD177 is expressed predominantly on a subpopulation of activated human neutrophils and mediates transendothelial migration through interaction with PECAM-1 (CD31). Researchers apply this antibody in western blot and immunofluorescence assays to examine neutrophil activation, characterize alloantibody responses to the HNA-2a epitope in transfusion reactions and neonatal neutropenia, and study CD177 overexpression in myeloproliferative neoplasms such as polycythemia vera.
