The CD160 antigen is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored immunoglobulin superfamily member expressed on cytotoxic lymphocytes, including NK cells, CD8+ T cells, and gamma-delta T cells. It engages HVEM on target cells to deliver co-stimulatory signals that amplify NK-mediated cytolysis, and it is implicated in mucosal immunity and tumor surveillance. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com binds the human CD160 extracellular domain and is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum suited to western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human tissue sections.

For western blot, the antibody recognizes a band of approximately 27 kDa, consistent with the mature GPI-anchored form of CD160. In immunohistochemistry, it produces membrane-localized staining on NK-rich regions such as the decidua and on CD8+ effector populations. Researchers use this reagent to phenotype NK and CD8 effector subsets, to study HVEM-CD160 signaling in viral and tumor immunity, and to characterize NK cell infiltration in patient biopsies. Store refrigerated at 4 °C and aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; for research use only.
