The CD155 antigen, also known as the Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) or NECL-5, is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the nectin-like immunoglobulin family that mediates cell-cell adhesion and serves as an entry receptor for poliovirus and certain rhinoviruses. Antibodies.com provides this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody in a 100 µl unconjugated format, validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows and reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples.

CD155 is widely studied in tumor immunology and innate immunity because it functions as a ligand for the activating receptor DNAM-1 (CD226) and the inhibitory receptor TIGIT, shaping natural killer cell responses against stressed, infected, or transformed cells. The polyclonal antibody recognizes multiple epitopes of the target, supporting detection in immunoblotting of cell lysates and ELISA-based quantification of recombinant or native CD155 protein in research use only applications.

Provided as a liquid reagent in a vial, this unconjugated antibody fits standard immunoblotting buffers, HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary detection, and other indirect readout systems. To preserve activity, the product should be refrigerated; aliquoting after first use helps limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The rabbit host ensures broad compatibility with commonly available anti-rabbit secondary antibodies on Western blot membranes and standard microplate ELISA workflows.
