Anti-CD147 Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-CD147 polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes mouse CD147, also known as Basigin (BSG), a transmembrane immunoglobulin superfamily glycoprotein implicated in extracellular matrix metalloproteinase induction, cell-cell adhesion, T-cell activation, and monocarboxylate transporter (MCT) chaperoning.

Validated for Western blot (WB), this unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a 100 µg liquid formulation for immunoblotting of mouse cell and tissue lysates. It is commonly used to investigate basigin expression in cancer invasion models, retinal pigment epithelium, spermatogonial development, and blood-brain barrier studies.

For best stability, store the antibody frozen at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, protect from light, and refer to the lot-specific data sheet for recommended buffer conditions.
