CD133 (Prominin-1) is a pentaspan transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of hematopoietic, neural, and cancer stem cells, making it a marker commonly used in stem cell biology and tumor research. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for western blot detection of CD133 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format offers flexibility for downstream labeling with custom reporters, while the polyclonal nature provides broader epitope recognition across the CD133 protein.
