CD13 (aminopeptidase N) is a zinc-dependent metalloprotease broadly expressed on myeloid lineage cells, epithelia, endothelium, and fibroblasts, and serves as a diagnostic surface marker in acute myeloid leukemia. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets a membrane-bound aminopeptidase implicated in angiogenesis, peptide trimming, and tumor invasion pathways, making it a useful research tool for mapping APN expression across normal and malignant tissue contexts.

Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat CD13, supporting comparative studies in rodent disease models and human clinical specimens. It is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, appropriate for direct conjugation or use in standard chromogenic and fluorescent detection workflows. For long-term storage, the glycerol-containing buffer should be kept at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw degradation of the polyclonal population.
