This Antibodies.com primary antibody is a mouse monoclonal raised against the CD11C (ITGAX) antigen, generated using the well-characterized 8E3 clone and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. It is unconjugated, giving researchers full flexibility to pair it with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-labelled secondary reagents depending on their Western Blot detection chemistry.

CD11C is the alpha subunit of the p150,95 beta 2 integrin (CR4), a ~150 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein best known as a canonical dendritic cell marker, and is also expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and a subset of neutrophils. Validated for Western Blot on human, mouse, and rat samples, the reagent supports comparative immunology work on leukocyte adhesion, chemotaxis, and complement-mediated phagocytosis across standard in vivo and in vitro research models.

The product ships as a 100 ul single-use vial and should be handled as a research use only reagent; refrigerate the stock and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which can promote aggregation of this IgG-class antibody. Brief handling at room temperature is acceptable for immediate experimental setup, and the sodium azide preservative protects the formulation during short-term bench use.
