Raised against recombinant full length human CCT2 and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this rabbit IgG polyclonal reagent resolves the beta subunit of the cytosolic TRiC/CCT chaperonin at the expected molecular weight of approximately 57 kDa. The unconjugated format, supplied at 1 mg/ml in a 100 µl vial of PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, leaves label selection to the end user so the same lot can support chromogenic Western blot detection, fluorescent immunofluorescence imaging, or biotin-streptavidin amplified immunohistochemistry without re-validation.

Antibodies.com lists the antibody as validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, with confirmed reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples — enabling side-by-side work across species and between matched normal versus tumour tissue microarrays. The polyclonal nature broadens epitope coverage relative to a monoclonal reagent, which is helpful when probing CCT2 in lysates or fixed sections where post-translational modification or fixation-induced masking can hide single epitopes.

SDS-PAGE analysis reports >95% purity for the affinity-purified antiserum, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of CCT2, so overexpression artefacts are not required for signal. The glycerol-containing formulation should be stored at -20 °C, protected from light, kept refrigerated after thawing, and subjected to limited freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. Intended for research use only in cell culture lysates, tissue sections, and in vitro assays of TRiC subunit balance in cytoskeletal remodelling and proliferative contexts.
