Raised against the human C-C chemokine receptor type 8 (CCR8), this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of IgG for Western blot workflows. CCR8 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that binds the chemokine ligand CCL1 (also called I-309) and is expressed on a restricted subset of leukocytes, including Th2-polarized CD4+ T cells, IL-17-producing helper T cells, and tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cells (Tregs). Because of this expression pattern, CCR8 is widely studied in models of allergic airway inflammation, cutaneous T-cell homing, and immuno-oncology, where CCR8-positive Tregs are being investigated as a target for selective depletion in solid tumors.

The antibody recognizes human CCR8 and is validated for Western blot (WB) detection in cell line and primary immune cell lysates. Its unconjugated IgG format allows researchers to pair it with HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary reagents, supporting flexibility across standard immunoblotting conditions. To preserve activity across multiple experiments, short-term refrigeration is recommended, and aliquoting followed by freezing extends usable shelf life.
