Rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against CCR4 (C-C chemokine receptor type 4), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent for Western blot workflows. The target CCR4 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor best known for its role in Th2 lymphocyte and regulatory T cell trafficking through the chemokine ligands CCL17/TARC and CCL22/MDC.

This antibody detects human and mouse CCR4 in Western blot applications. It is provided at 1 mg/ml in a 100 µl volume, formulated in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and is dispensed as a liquid in a single vial for short-term refrigerated storage with long-term aliquot and freeze handling for batch stability.

CCR4 is a relevant marker in immunology, allergy, and cancer research, including studies of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma where CCR4-positive malignant T cells have been investigated as a drug-discovery target. The unconjugated format allows researchers to pair the reagent with their preferred HRP, fluorescent, or biotin detection system depending on the Western blot protocol. Sodium azide should be washed out prior to any conjugation or peroxidase-coupled step, since azide inhibits horseradish peroxidase activity.
