Phosphorylation of cyclin B1 at serine 147 is a recognized regulatory mark associated with mitotic progression and G2/M checkpoint control in dividing cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, supplied as a 100 µl aliquot by Antibodies.com, was raised against CCNB1 and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples. The antibody selectively recognizes cyclin B1 when phosphorylated at Ser147, enabling researchers to monitor activation-state changes during cell cycle studies, DNA damage response investigations, and tumor biology research. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it binds multiple epitopes on CCNB1, which can improve signal when detecting the modified form. The unconjugated format allows users to pair the primary antibody with their preferred reporter-conjugated secondary antibody for chromogenic IHC, fluorescent IF, or chemiluminescent Western blot detection. IgG isotype background is compatible with standard anti-rabbit secondary reagents across these platforms.
