The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody recognizes CCNA2, the cyclin A2 protein that drives the G1/S and G2/M transitions through activation of CDK1 and CDK2. Produced in rabbit hosts, this unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum and supports both Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples. The antibody binds the full-length cyclin A2 and is commonly used by research teams studying cell cycle progression, S-phase entry, mitotic regulation, and proliferative markers in fixed tissue sections and cell lysates. Because it is unconjugated, the antibody can be paired with HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary detection systems depending on the experiment. Storage at -20 °C in working aliquots preserves activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
