Anti-CCL4 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against CCL4 (also known as MIP-1 beta). It is unconjugated and of IgG isotype, supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The manufacturer states the immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–92 of human CCL4 (NP_002975.1), and the antibody has been affinity purified. The reported molecular weight of the target is 12 kDa.

Recommended dilution for Western blot is 1:500–1:1,000. Reactivity and validation details differ between the two sources: the catalogue attributes indicate reactivity with human samples and list applications of WB and IHC, whereas the manufacturer datasheet lists reactivity with rat and validation for WB only. Concentration is described as lot specific and one scientific validation image is referenced.

For storage, the reagent is shipped at 4°C and, on receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
