CCL26 (Eotaxin-3) is a secreted CC-family chemokine and the inducible ligand for the CCR3 receptor, driving eosinophil recruitment at sites of Th2 inflammation. The reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG affinity-purified against a synthetic peptide from human CCL26, supplied as 200 µL of unconjugated antiserum and validated on human, mouse, and rat samples. Because the polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, the reagent supports detection of endogenous chemokine in tissue lysates by Western blot and in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections by immunohistochemistry. Investigators studying allergic airway disease, atopic dermatitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and IL-13/STAT6-driven epithelial signaling use this antibody to track Eotaxin-3 induction in endothelial, bronchial, and intestinal epithelium. The unconjugated IgG leaves the choice of secondary reporter, chromogen, or fluorescent label to the user, so a single vial can feed chromogenic IHC, immunofluorescence, or chemiluminescent Western protocols. Store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; thaw on ice and mix gently before use. For research use only.
