Anti-CCL16 Antibody

CCL16 is a human C-C motif chemokine expressed by liver, thymus, and lymphoid tissue, where it guides monocyte, dendritic cell, and lymphocyte chemotaxis toward inflammatory microenvironments. The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial, ready to pair with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies in standard chromogenic and immunofluorescence workflows.

This antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. It is commonly applied to localize CCL16 in paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections and to confirm endogenous expression in cell lysates prepared under reducing or non-reducing conditions. Each preparation is affinity-purified against the CCL16 immunogen and screened for specificity to the human chemokine, with low background in matched-isotype control experiments.
