Anti-CBX6 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting CBX6, offered by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 80–180 of human CBX6 (NP_055107.3) and purified by affinity chromatography. The reported molecular weight of the target is 50 kDa.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for IHC. Western blot performance has been demonstrated on HeLa cell extracts, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocking in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, a goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000, and ECL-based chemiluminescence with a 180-second exposure. IHC has been validated on paraffin-embedded rat liver, rat brain, and mouse testis at a 1:100 dilution (40× lens), with microwave antigen retrieval performed in 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2 prior to staining.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
