Anti-CBX5 Antibody

A rabbit monoclonal antibody targeting Chromobox protein homolog 5 (CBX5), supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated recombinant reagent for chromatin and epigenetics research. CBX5, also known as Heterochromatin Protein 1 alpha (HP1α), is a reader of methylated histone H3 lysine 9 marks and a structural component of pericentric heterochromatin, supporting studies of gene silencing, chromatin compaction, and nuclear organization. The reagent is validated for Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human, mouse, and rat samples, and is provided in 1*TBS pH 7.4 with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol plus 0.05% Sodium Azide as preservative.
