Anti-CBX5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent targets chromobox protein homolog 5 (CBX5), also known as HP1α, an established marker for heterochromatin and epigenetic studies. The IgG isotype antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated across a wide range of immunoassays including Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP). The product shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for chromatin, nuclear-signalling and gene-regulation workflows in multiple model systems.
