CBX4 (Chromobox protein 4, also called HPC2 or Pc2) is a chromatin reader that anchors the Polycomb Repressive Complex 1 (PRC1) to H3K27me3-decorated loci and acts as a SUMO E3 ligase for transcription factors and histone modifiers. Altered CBX4 expression has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, and osteosarcoma, making it a frequent target in chromatin and cancer biology studies.

This Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against CBX4. It is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and reacts with human and mouse orthologues. Validated applications cover western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF), supporting detection of endogenous protein in cell lysates, formalin-fixed tissue sections, and cultured cells.

Store the vial at -20 °C for long-term use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; for short-term handling, keep it at 4 °C. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary antibodies or direct fluorescent labeling depending on the experimental design.
