Anti-CBX3 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit, that targets CBX3 (also known as HP1 gamma). The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is affinity-purified, lot-specific in concentration, and reported as KO validated. The antibody is recommended for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, with reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-183 of human HP1 gamma/CBX3 (NP_009207.2), and the target has a stated molecular weight of 23 kDa. Suggested dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for Western blot and immunoprecipitation, and 1:50-1:200 for immunohistochemistry and ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
